There was drama as the FDC leader declined to return home and instead sat on the roadside for almost two hours, before police exasperated by his perceived impertinence, forcefully loaded him on a police vehicle and drove him to Kasangati police station.
Ugandan GOV is so stupid for doing this so this brave man.

Should the Arab revolution continue in black africa? African revolution might maybe start by this? in tunisia a man set himself on fire for being badly treated by a government official, it then set the country on fire. Can Besigye be a person who make it happen in Uganda? BTW what are non english people talking about?

@lechat100 yes, The policemen were instructed to halt him(by higher authority), then make him take the car to work. Now imagine the electionday...what kind of instructions the can be handed.cause they are very loyal(fear of reprecussion??) to the state.clearly If the police acts like this on a normal day toward a politician, then there are big doubts to cast on the legitimacy of the election winners. He actually makes alot of sense, havent heard much of the others though...

Besigye should retire from leading FDC because he is a confused fella!! He has been defeated 3 times by Museveni and now he thinks he can walk to power!!! Even after Museveni will leave office after he decide to another NRM candidate will beat Besigye in the elections because what he knows is to talk his nonsense bullshit!!this guy will never become a president!!and I think soon the FDC party will kick him out!!I think FDC has better candidates than this guy!!

Oh my God this is such a disgrace to our leaders that we are meant to look up to. What are the upcoming generation going to do when our society cannot be controlled in a civilized manner. Where is his excellency in all this? Why is something so simple being turned into an explosive dramatic scene? The guy is just walking the streets of Kampala. This security in Uganda is disgraceful, the world is watching this dictate like behavior.
