Gordan1154: I used an emulator on my computer. The emulator is called Project 64 and the roms (games) are pretty easy to find for it. I used a screen capture software called Camtasia Studio 6 and a headset to add the audio as I played. Camtasia allows you to edit as well as compress and format to YouTube standards.

why do emulators lag alot?
PS i am new to emulators

@solidfreak123 Well it depends on a few things. The first thing that comes to mind is that it depends on the computer that you are using to run the emulator. Emulators pull a lot on the video card and ram to give you the fps (frames per second) your looking for for smooth gameplay.

The other thing could be the specific emulator you are using, some emulators let you speed up and slow down the fps to let you tweek gameplay and slow things down if you system cant handle the game at full speed. The rom (digital game file used by emulators... think game cartridge) could also be causing it. All roms are not created equally and depending on who made it it could be just a bad file. Well I hope that gives you a few ideas on the issue. Let me know if you have any more questions.
