iPad 2 Tsunami

I feel kinda odd when seeing many people lining up for iPad 2, while on the other side of the ocean, people are dying massively...

So in order to express my unexplainable feeling, I decided to put together a video. Roughly edited, using news reels from various YouTube channels and one online news.

Wow Ocean, I guess those countless hours of editing and not sleeping that night really paid off. I'm so glad you actually did this video, very powerful, inspiring, and engaging. I hope people can see this video not as a way to hate the ipad, but it's to see the world in a different perspective. By comparing 2 different cultures and 2 events in one single day, people in the US believes ipad can change their lives, but the earthquake & tsunami has already changed the lives of the people in Japan.

It is definitely sad that many people lost their lives and many loved ones. I do not see the point of showing line ups at Apple stores. There are many people who have no idea of the devastation and do what they do, but I just feel this reflection is not fair and really just a ratings issue! That is also sad!

I feel heart broken for japan as well :'( But this is such a big world u can't cease to live happily while others are suffering somewhere right now. Comparing to the ubiquitous death caused by starvation all over the poor countries, wht'd u say? On the other hand, Steve Jobs is rumored to be dying so iPad2 might be the last product he presented...
