!!UPDATE!!
When you press the blue "down" button and the power button at the same time, bypass is set... Don't forget to do it once a day. Also, It is really really hard to hit them both at the exact same time! don't worry, it will still work even if your timing isn't perfect."bP" will still display, but you'll just have to correct whatever button you happened to hit first. (in other words, most of the time, you'll have to either turn the system back on, or raise the temperature one degree after using this trick. Sometimes you'll hit it perfectly though. In all three cases, "bP" will display, and the bypass is set for one day.)
If you found this video you are probably here because you too are annoyed by those new "green" motion sensor thermostats that are popping up in hotels. They only work if you are in the room moving around, so basically you get no AC or heat while you're sleeping. This video shows you how to bypass the motion "feature" of the thermostat.
Thanks. They put a version of this in the hotel tonight, it made the room very cold. You tip worked great!

I'm a light sleeper and need the AC (or at least the fan in the AC) to run all night to keep me cool and provide some white noise. This trick got me a good night's sleep in a hotel using this thermostat. Thanks for posting!!
