i just bought a truck, and i want exhaust for it. could you tell me what kind you have. i'm new at all this truck shit.

@papasmurf486 Sorry i cant tell you what type it is. I bought the truck used and the muffler was rusted bad. Its a glasspack but if i had to guess i would say its a cherry bomb.

AWESOME!! I have a 96 ford bronco 5.0L and it sounds nothing like this with a cherrybomb glasspack... does ur truck have TWO catalytic converters?? did u have to break in the glasspack??

Not sure how many its got. I know it has atleast one but i never touched the catalytic converters so they are still stock. The glasspack is well broken in. It is all rusted from the wisconsin winters. The truck has exhaust leaks which i think also adds to the loudness.

did you cut the catalytic converter off or what cuz i glasspacked my truck and its the same as yours but it jus doesnt seem to sound the same as yours

Nope the catalytic converter is still on there and wasnt messed with. I will say though that the the muffler and exhaust pipe coming off the muffler are held together very well. So there is some exhaust leaking going on which might make up for the different sound

@bone I got a 4.6 v8 f150 too 1997 of course... If ya get the glass packs lemme know how it turns out

And at the dumb fuck that thinks 97's are old yeah they are but when you get a truck that's as reliable as my 97 f150 @ jus over 140k miles and still competing with the other "new" trucks on the street and the bog I'm sure you'll understand that one day as long as u take care of your truck it'll return the favor
