Anyway, you seem to be a big Page fan... and a fan of his idols (Coltrane). Cool! I like (read: worship) NIN too, and am hoping to dig deep into the likes of Bjork, Prong, Tomahawk/Patton, and Coltrane sometime. Hard work. It took me quite some time to digest Helmet too, at first they sounded too... weird and off to me. But over time I've come to see that they are something amazingly unique.

Does anyone have a live version of Overrated?

I caught this tour in Miami, FL. Sausage and Rollins Band were incredible. I am a big fan! Helmet is my favorite band and John Stanier is the reason I started playing drums in the early 90s. His later music with Battles is genius. The guy is a machine. I certainly love Meantime more than Betty but this was my favorite song on Betty ("I Know" a close second). I still play this song on the drums 16 years later. Helmet were seriously underrated. Thanks for posting this!

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY CRAP!!!!!! I was at this show it was with Sausage, Rollins Band and Helmet........please tell me you ahve some Rollins Band footage from this.
Oh come on, Speechless is NOT the weakest track on the album. That honor goes to Milquetoast. Hearing Beautiful Love come to close, and then this track opening with that huge, warm, heavy power chord... its like the album just frikkin' STARTED! Amazing track. it really would've made for a great opener track right after BL.
Anyway, I checked out your myspace. Good stuff, particularly enjoyed JVH and 6.30 am. And I really, really respect the philosohpy/concept. *salutes*

@aerialmedication I appreciate your feedback, thanks! I also agree on Speechless and undo my earlier statement. My opinion changed when I heard it live at a Helmet show last year - having it thrown at your face at 120db is how this song is meant to be experienced. Brilliant!
