  • I agree with you're commentary BlueBerryPickn, we're overgoverned as it is. Did we ask for this referendum and the associated costs ? The answer is emphatically no, the change was pushed by small splinter parties who have little hope of getting anyone elected in the current system. Utilizing our tax dollars to pay for 22 more politicians and their staff at Queens Park without knowing what the additional 22 will be doing didn't add up to me. I'm glad it blew up in their faces !!

  • I have no issues counting paper ballots. I prefer them to invisible electronic ones. I've seen your comments, but have no idea what you're actually talking about. Too cryptic.

  • why isn't there a 3rd option on the ballet stating "none of the above"????

The problem isn't the representatives, it's the policies. I think it took McGuinty 2 whole days in office before he stated he would not honour his promises.

This referendum an illusion of choice.

Direct Democracy enables the population to hold representatives accountable for their actions.

Provocateur cops, officials failing to investigate, a senate that won't investigate?

    This is a distraction.

  • I'm a Canadian living in New Zealand. New Zealand has a PR voting system. Ontario NEEDS a proportional voting system and so does Canada. It's GOOD.
