Not only is today Flag Day, but it is the Army's 236th birthday! President Truman signed an act designating June 14 a day of National observance on August 3, 1949. Today, President of United War Veterans Council Vince McGowan, Brigadier Gen. Peter Deluca and Veteran Patrick Gualtieri talk to Brian Kilmeade about the history of this great day and explain how "freedom is not free and we've all paid a price to carry that flag forward into our future." They each explain what flag day means to them and how Veterans are honored more today than ever.

Plus, they present a flag, that was flown over Ground Zero, to Fox to carry during the Veteran's Day parade that will be aired on FOX5 on November, 11th 2011.

    Bravo Gentlemen! Proud of you!

  • THE CURRENT FLAG FLOWN FOR OUR COUNTRY IS NOT THE ORIGINAL US MILITARY FLAG!!! The gold fringe, gold braided cord, ball, eagle, and spear are all illegal additions to the orginal flag to give notice that it has been captured and is now being used by the corporate so-called government to give notice of its jurisdiction. The Flag flown in state buildings and courtrooms is not described in Title 4 of USC and therefore is illegal on land. gemworld. com/USAVSUS.HTM
