on my RTTS on mlb 07 the show *only doing RTTS on that game cuz no goals woo hoo!* I am in mid june and have 123 K's and I have no ERA and im 14-0 lol I almost have 1000k votes and the AL's top pick only has a lil over 300k. Would've had a perfect game but my manager took me out after 8 perfect innings.... >.>

@tallydaga You do realize that some of the best pitchers in the game use a 4 Seam fastball and a 2 seam fastball. There is no such thing as a 1-7 curve.
-
@TheTylerT123 I have a fastball, sinker, cut fastball, slider, and 12-6 curve, in that order. If you build all your stats to max, they're all really deadly pitches. Trust me.

dude thats my exact repitoire, no joke

the most strikeouts in a season in RTTS that i got was 188.

@tallydaga yeah nice choices my pitches are 4sfb, slider, 12-6 curveball, sinker and my strikeout pitch is cutter man 300 strikeouts in my third season!!!! in my first 266, second season 267 lol... 23-3 record the first one, 18-2 the second and 24-0 the last one 3 cy youngs for the AL in my three mlb seasons!!! best in both leagues 3 time all star SP 8 shutouts in one season 4 of them almost perfect games (1 hit) 17 strikeouts in one game and batters where batting me lefty: 122 and rightys 167

Also what pitches would you recommend starting off with then adding?

@TheTylerT123 @TheTylerT123 It depends on you. You should use pitches that you like. If you want a big power pitcher, don't use a knuckleball. The key is to mix things. Don't use a 4seam fb with the 2 seamer or rising fb, they're too similar. Same with the 12-6, sweeping and 1-7 curves. The 2sfb is my favorite, then add a breaking pitch (slider/curve), and a sinker/splitter to get groundballs (but you'll get less K). The circle change is a very effective pitch too, and it works well early.

I have MLB 10 the show and made a pitcher. How do you make a pitcher that is so dominant.

@TheTylerT123 Well you just have to keep on pitching! As you've probably seen, each time you finish a game you get progression points that you can use to get your stamina/fastball speed/curve movement or whatever up.
As you do so your pitcher gets better, so you should throw better game, and get more points. It's a virtuous circle.
This video was on my 8th season, something like that, and I didn't sim any game, so I had tons of points and all my pitcher's abilities were at max!

congrats! you gonna post a video for number 2500? just a quick question...i just made a rtts player as a SP with a cutter, circle change, and a curveball...do you think those are good pitches to use? By the way I got drafted by Houston...

If there's the same type of cutscene for #2500, I will most definitely post it. For your pitcher, I like your set of pitches. I think it's important to have 1-2 pitches that are very effective against lefties (if you throw RP), your cutter and circle change do that. You've also got a big breaking ball (curve), so it's quite mixed, nice!
