The drama, set to open on November 25th, is a coming-of-age story set in the heady world of New York theatre. Efron plays a teenage student who lucks his way into a minor role in the 1937 Mercury Theatre production of "Julius Caesar," directed by 22-year-old genius Orson Welles. In the words of Kaplow's protagonist: "This is the story of one week in my life. I was seventeen. It was the week I slept in Orson Welles's pajamas. It was the week I fell in love. It was the week I fell out of love."

Efron isn't a bad actor, he just unfortunately started out in highschool musical.

people need to give Zac Efron a break and realize that he's not in High School Musical anymore and he's up for big challenges, like this one. chill, people! if you can't stand Zac Efron JUST BECAUSE he was in HSM, you really need to let go of the past and admit that he is a good actor. why else would they choose him in movies like this one? come on people, grow up already, i know he did.

Zac Efron loved what he's doing in High School Musical..so dont say such bad words about it just because you dont like High School Musical..

Zac Efron is A GOOD actor. And Just  because he was In a Stupid Movie Called High School Musical, at least now he is getting out there. it prepared him for the Big stuff. and here is is showing us how GREAT he is(:
