  • Wow! Anybody that owns ferrets knows how impressive that was.

  • Lu continues to amaze me. He is now just over three years old and in his prime. He hasn't jumped up onto the bathroom counter recently, but that's not to say he can't do it anymore. He just knows there's nothing there for him. Styx and Echo can also make that jump. Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to catch them on 'film' as well.

  • Wow. He's much more athletic than my Rikki :P Adorable ferrets!

  • Thankfully he's learned that we really don't want him up there (we had to close the bathroom door for 2 months after this video was taken... and since that's where a spare litter box, food dish and water are we're happy he's stopped). About two weeks ago we learned that another of our ferrets can make this jump, bringing it to a total of 3 that can.

  • Wow, great how he made that jump.

I see you have many ferrets... what food do you give them, I mean the name of it?

    I give mine Totally Ferret.

By the way I live in Holland.

And are the costs of a vet in your country also that expensive?

Because almost every ferret gets cancer and other health problems, so how do you pay the bills for them?

  • They get a mixture of food. Iams Original Cat, Eukanuba Kitten, Zupreem Ferret and 8-in-1 Ultimate.

Vet costs here can get pricey as well, depending on what the problem is. We always try to have between $500 and $1000 available for emergency vet care. If it goes over that, we do what we can and must to get them the care they need. Most vets here will work out some sort of a payment schedule if the cost is of the astronomical kind.

  • Time for baby locks! That's an impressive distance, my hoblet or sprite couldn't make that.

  • Impressive..! Strong little guy I've a small female that we call indiana jones she's the explorer gets into everything and everywhere. One day I'm not joking she was on our ceiling fan, she managed to climb to the top of our entertainment station and jump to the fan blade.. Guess was to scared to jump down tho I came home to hear her crying to get down... Was to funny...

  • OMG!!! Hes like a torpedo!!!

  • My darling little boy, Cowboy, is a jumper & a climber. He's only 10 months old, but he jumps up onto my couch, computer table (when I leave the chair as his "booster"), and he climbs up the back of his 3-story rolling condo to lounge on the top & survey his little kingdom. I've owned many ferrets since 1985, & though I've loved them all, Cowboy is very special. He already has Inflammatory Bowel Disease, but it's controlled with 2 doses of Flagyl (YUUUUUUCK) daily. Peace!

  • OMG I have never seen such a thing !!!!! Lu is for sure one special ferret !!!! :)

  • wow. I suppose maybe they are immunised etc? I would pay that much for any ferret I wanted though.

  • in minnesota ferrets are 100.00 each if not more

  • such awesome pets, they should be cheap hopefully, i got mine free. (Im in Aus tho)

Do your research! one of mine died cos i gave it a flu...
