Will Alex Smith play for the Oakland Raiders in 2011?

Al Davis, the owner of the Oakland Raiders, reportedly showed interest in dealing for San Francisco 49ers QB Alex Smith. Could Smith end up in a Raider uniform? Also, Vikings are no-shows to Christian Ponder's workouts, Steve Slaton will be getting extra carries in the preseason, and Nick Folk has competition in New York.

@RAIDERxNATIONx32 I rather have a young back up QB like Devlin,Potts,Tolzien, Johnson or use the submental draft on Terrelle Pryor he's fast & tall and with Hue as our coach Pryor would sit & learn for a couple of years!

I think alex smith should stay because he was realy young when he was draftedand and was engergd for two seasons and he hardly ever gets any time to play because if he messes up a few times then they take him out and put in troy smith and the only reason why troy did good is because he was hyped up and that happens to mostly all qb's who havent started in a while and bet you he's going to start sucking.

@IPROFIESSOIR1992 I disagree I used to like him but he gets hurt a lot & cost us two games in which we shoulda won and besides Grad & Frye both may not be back since we didn't resigned them or put tenders on them so why don't we go after someone like Pryor in next years draft if he's available or sign Devlin or Potts in UDFA in my opinion. We still need a third stringer we cannot have a season with just two QBs.
