  • @michaelm610 Yes.. it would.. lol

  • @Harthorn It would just be a damn sexy silvia

  • @michaelm610 My apologies, I see my previous post has a typo, what I meant to say is; "I am NOT denying there are similarities", never did. But does not make your theory 100% true, simply because one model is different; does not fit your theory's criteria. Just because people swap a SR20 into a 240SX does not make it a 200SX, if I swapped a RB26 into a Silvia, would that make it a Skyline?

  • @Harthorn why can you not just agree with the similarities;in the 180sx the FIRST motor was the ca18det, but later on they swapped it to the SR20det, yes I understand that motors were swapped for the SE editions of cars, but when people swap an SR20 into a 240sx over in north america they call theyre car a 200sx not a 240sx with an SR20, my car a nissan 240sx comes with one of 2 motors the KA24e in the 89-90 years and ka24de that ran from 1991-1997, all 240sx's have this motor S13 S14

  • @michaelm610 Like I say, I am denying there are similarities; but goes back to my original point in which it still does not satisfy the criteria across the board.. as I pointed out with the 180SX, non-limited edition engine variances. That would be enough to refute your claim, because if even ONE single model doesn't follow your hypothesis, it would render it useless.

  • @Harthorn but if you pause the video at 0:18 seconds it says very clearly 200sx on the side

  • @Harthorn

Again, the NIssan 280Z has the L28E which happens to be a 2.8L

    The 240Z had the L24 which is a 2.4L

    the 300ZX has either the 3.0L VG30DE, or the 3.0 L VG30DETT

So it is across the board the S-chasis and the Z chasis, there is absolutely no way that 9 models happen to be mere coincidence, yes there may be SOME cars that may be special edition for instance the 300zx that has the RB26DET in it (japan model) if her car is a 180sx it has an SR20DET in it making it a 200sx

  • @Harthorn so your trying to say that it is just a coincidence?

  • @michaelm610 Notice how I said, "as this rule obviously does not apply across the board." Your statement would be true if all Z or S chassis model name/codes do reflect engine displacement, but it does not cover all variations. Even the S12 (or 200SX) in the states at one point had VG30s in them, hence your statement would be more inclined to be invalid.
