Dedicating this one to my cousin who had this 45 when I was a kid. He is in the hospital in IN in serious condition and I'm re-livin' the good memories here with this classic. Thanx for posting!

My Dad (Paul Venturini) loved being in and apart of the "Soul Survivors"!!! His best friend from the band was Joey Forgione (the drummer)!

when this song hit the charts i got my license and had a $40 bomb car with an AM radio and i put in a reverberator device on the radio.....i trade all my cell phones, computers and flat screens for that back. we didn't know it but we had it all, even though we had nothing!

I was there in July of 66. Play Those oldies Mr. DJ was on the juke box in the snack bar. Jerry Blavat was On WHAT out of Camden. Was living in Newark at that time. Great music from Philly, stuff you never heard on the New York stations

the absolute gospel my friend, i know, i was there too, as you know not just the great tunes, but the whole vibe, especially the absence of attitude, wow, where have all the cool people gone!, heaven probably.

One of my favorites! This came out when I was 8, listening to it on my AM transistor radio. I was sure that the group was black
