bertram 25 open throttle!

finally got the boat down to the keys and fixing some minor problems got it running like a champ

My Bertram 25's tachs never read the same either, who knows, and like most people just sync the engines by ear. Good job on the resto, she looks and sounds great!

I see you are running 3.0 litre Mercruisers.

Can I ask what is your WOT speed?

And are your tachos right as they were not reading the same at the end of the vid?

@nkelly9 i dont know what the hell is wrong with it never noticed it but i also dont know what wot speed is we were cruising with ten people at about 20 knots but we were having problems so we didn't push them too hard

I run a 25 FB with twin 165 hp Merc inline sixes- 250 ci.

At WOT I get 4000rpm for 30 knots.

Travel everywhere at 3000 rpm for 20 knots and overall,combined fuel consumption is 24 litres per hour.

This is calculated by tallying 2000 odd litres of fuel used against the (checked) hour meters.

My information tells me that your new looking 181ci engines and legs should be pulling 4200-4600rpm at WOT.

I am curious to find out your numbers dealing with rpms,speed and fuel consumption.
