Metroid (NES) - The Sarah Palin Code

While playing around with a Metroid password generator a few years ago after the previous election, I stumbled upon this funny coincidence of a password which, for all we know, may hold the answer to whether Sarah Palin will run in the 2012 presidential election.
The code is: "Sarah_ Palin_ 2012_ _ _ _ _ _ Ok" (The _'s are spaces)
As I show here, the game will place you near the end of the game with everything you need, plus suitless Samus, except for the ice beam. You can beat the game relatively quickly with this code, but the tradeoff is that you won't get the "best" ending...
