Create Shortcut to launch app in snow Leopard

This is a quick guide to create keyboard shortcuts to launch applications in osx Snow Leopard.
- use Automator to create a Service.
- use System Preferences to assign a shortcut to the Menu Item for the Service.
- make sure item is spelt exactly as you saved it. Case counts.
