That's a mid-'40s recording of Al Jolson singing "California, Here I Come". It would have been more interesting if you played one of Jolie's "acoustic" recordings from that period- like "The Spaniard That Blighted My Life" or "O-Hi-O".
And do try to find another needle as a "backup"....

Very nice machine but that needle is worn out. You can only use them once. Buy them really cheaply on ebay. Enjoy.
