Macbook Pro display problems on WoW

Solution that helped me - edit your config.wtf file with:
/console maxfps 30
/console maxfpsbk 5
to get rid of triangle-bug :)

same thing happens to me, only happens once in awhile but happens alot when i enter buildings and turn the screen , if you find out how to fix it or you have let me know

I have the same problem sending it in for repair mine is a 3 yea rold mbp. The GC is prob toast.

Had the same issue on iMac 24". Exactly. d/l smcFanControl and increased my fan settings. Problem went away. Internal video card looks like it is over heating.

And the best deal is the best product for the least amount of money in a ratio. Yes, you need to get what you want, but once you're in that zone, it's all about what you can get that's the best for the lowest price. PC hardware is also top-notch, usually even later technology then what Macs have inside.

As for software, Windows is way more useful then OS X, and it's all you really ever need. All that propaganda about losing files and crashing is all BS, at least it doesn't happen to me.

The vast majority of computers in the world are tower-monitor systems.

Really, who cares about power consumption? If you're so short on money you can't pay for the electricity, you shouldn't have enough to buy a computer that uses so much in the first place. Get a $600 laptop with integrated graphics if you care so much about electricity lol.

Regular tower desktops are the worst solution you can get for the far biggest majority of computer users out there.

One example: 80 Watts is what the iMac uses: that's drive, cpu etc and the awesome SIPS (do you know what that is) 24" LCD panel.

How much does your average "tower desktop" use?

Thanks for burning resources with that GT 9800 so WOW runs faster. Lol.

200 Watts for your videocard alone. And you don't get what's wrong in the PC market ... jesus ...
