On Aug. 30, 2010, a music soundtrack and sound effects were added to the Space Mountain roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. The music doesn't come from within the seats, but from 60 speakers placed along the track. The "Starry-O-Phonic Sound" composition is exclusive to the Space Mountain in Walt Disney World. Although this is a point-of-view video of the ride, the ride is almost in total darkness, so this is more of the audio from the ride than a video.

  • @crocomirehuntah3000 y? i personally favor the Disney World version over the disney land.

  • @Setheo1CP Space Mountain at Disneyland and Space Mountain at Walt Disney World couldn't be more different. Were plans drawn up for Disneyland first? Yes, but it was a very far cry from what the park got. Walt Disney World got the first iteration of Space Mountain in any Disney park, and that's fact.

  • half of the video was pitch black

  • @Fillips74 If you ever go to Disney and ask an expert which Space Mountain was first, they will say Disneyland's. They always had an original concept for Disneyland first but it was cancelled or paused.

  • @rusty5707 "I went on space mountain seven-teen times *clap *clap"

  • at 1:34 through 1:51 it sounds like the one at Disneyland
