Out of 5 years, I've collected about $500. I get the Amazon dollars and so this is my "fun" money. I usually spend it on stuff at Amazon I wouldn't spend my "real" money on.

You may be given the oportunity to fill out 6-7 surveys everyday. The surveys are anywhere from 10 to 30 points on average. A point is roughly equivalent to about a dime (10 cents). If you answer all the preliminary questions, then you qualify for the survey and when you complete the survey, you get the points deposited into your account that you can redeem for online services. But you won't qualify for every survey, and there's the rub.

I don't know if I'm violating some kind of rule here, but yes, Opinion Outpost is legit. I know, I'm just some invisible person typing on a keyboard thousands of miles from wher you are, so let me give you some details.
After you give them some details about you, they will send you half a dozen surveys every other day or so, sometimes more. For each one you complete. you get points. You redeem these points for a check, Visa give card Several online merchants and my favorite, Amazon.

I don't know much about online opinions, but i do know something about market research telephone surveys, and invitations to go someplace and give your opinion. If someone offers to pay you if you go someplace, ask them the name of the research company, and if they have registered with the Better Business Bureau in your city. And, if you read their ad in the newspaper, look for clues that show they're legitimate. Also, you can find out if your city has an ordinance to follow. You CAN make $

Opinion Outpost is great! It really does work and I've received a bunch of Amazon GCs from them. It's not a scam.

@DownloadDownload987 I think there are a few options, but the way I get my money is a cheque in the mail. I was actually surprised when I got my first cheque because I had assumed the site wouldn't really follow through with paying me - but I've made close to $100 now! lol

Most of these seem to be scams or far too freakin complicated to wanna join up in. At least that seems to be the scenario when I ever tried even lookin INTO these things. I mean anybody else know the Scam-name Mystery Shoppin and Yette Rollins

@kilssj2250 Thanks for addressing your concerns. I don't know much about Mystery Shopping but as far as Market Research goes there are some scams out there. The best way to know if a survey company is legitimate is to look for there affiliation with industry bodies like Esomar, AAPOR extra.
