Used Java, used PHP, used Python, killed Ruby...
Python is/was the best @ home (programs, webpages, ...) but it's quite hard to use it on a rented server (most servers don't have it... )
PHP is quite ok when you have written some programs and are able to reuse the code...
Java is fine for local applications but sucks for web apps
Ruby looked to crazy, deleted it right after the download was finished (friend told me that it is nice... he lied... -.-)
and .NET is the free Disc that I never used ^^
