@darklordfry If you don't want to practice against players, you have to do it against bots. The problem with bots is that they don't do rocket jumps and they won't move while in the air (you can move to some extent), whereas people do. This does make for some easy and good target practice though. Simply go practice in a space map with loads of bounce pads, but stay in the warmup, saves you the hassle of having to pick up the rocket launcher every time.

@darklordfry With experience you learn to 'read the flow' ... it eventually comes naturally and at that point you can start practicing. Air rockets are all about judging the speed, direction and landing of your enemy in combination with the speed of your rocket. Both those things have a point of intersection and that's where you have to shoot. After you get the feel of how your enemies move in the air, it's time to practice, practice and practice some more.
