The Young Musicians Foundation Debut Orchestra gives a world-class performance of Beethoven's most popular Symphony. Composed from 1811 - 1812 while in the Bohemian Spa town of Teplice, Beethoven dedicated this expressive work to Count Moritz von Fries. Symphony No. 7 was premiered in Vienna on December 8, 1813 and is scored for 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets in A, 2 bassoons, 2 horns in A, 2 trumpets in D, timpani, and strings.
The four movements are:
I. Poco sostenuto - Vivace
II. Allegretto (the most popular of the movements)
III. Presto - Assao meno presto (trio)
IV. Allegro con brio
Featured in this video are YMF Debut Concertmaster Caitlin Kelley, and YMF flutist Rose Lombardo.

thirty years ago it was me, oh, not this orchestra, but my local youth orchestra and symphony orchestra. I am a double bass player BTW, started it almost 40 years ago, in 1972, first year in high school
I am glafd to see that some of our youth still love and play the classical masters all of whom beat the hell out of lady gaga any day!!
