  • My dad passed uncle walt to me from his days in austin in the 70's... got cassettes, possibly vinyls, really cool to see this....

    This song was Walter's idea but Walter made Champ and David contribute verses to it as well, making "Someday" the only Uncle Walt's Band song credited as being written by all three members of the group. The song was also introduced to audiences as "Getaway" and many remember it by that title as well.
