Saboteur II: Avenging Angel is a video game released in 1987 for the Sinclair Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64.
This game has more than 700 or so screens, so you really need a good memory or a friend who is meshuggah enough to read the map for you ;)
The 'impossible' Level 8 was played by Tomcat without any cheats! I sped up the video a little because of the ten minute YouTube limit.
For the music I decided on something special to make this walkthrough a little more interesting ;)
You can hear the original composition by Rob Hubbard here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRs9ys2RLug ... that actually inspired me to dive into the world of chiptunes again. :)
One big difference between computer games then and now is these games were often designed to make you fail, which makes them even more rewarding... okay, okay ;)
But hey, release a triple-A title that challenging today and your publisher will probably jump at you like these crazy pumas in game ;)
Anyway, you'll find some nicely done custom made maps and lots of info here http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0004295

I loved the first Saboteur but I hated this one. Too many giant astronauts everywhere trying to rape you!
