Interestingly, I think a song best known as a James Bond opening is very fitting for the Doctor. In some ways, they have a lot of parallels.

Started up this video, and as soon as the Master said 'what this country needs', my advertisement popped up with 'need a new Doctor'.

Why yes advertisement. I do need a new doctor, because my doctor can't travel through space and time. Because my doctor is not the Doctor.

CONTINUED-->(saVe.. oops)wheer as before he would consider wether it was his right to, for example, destroy the creation of the Daleks by joining 2 low-tech together(Tom Baker era!). Bond, on the hand would kill for Queen & Country with only minor consideration...Especailly if the villain deserved it. Remember the Doctor confronting that alien vampire dude(actor on Buffy series)? The Doctor coldly stated a thinly vailed threat, "I used to have SO much mercy..." But this song isn't his 'tude.

Total fail... safe for that the beginning visuals seemed well timed to the opening of this song...WHICH is about a cold blooded killer(when nessesary) named Bond. The docter is NOT a cold blooded killer(tho' from what I've gleaned from the newer show's references to his past, the Doctor has HAD to kill during the so-called 'Time War'). We do know that these days the Doctor is willing to despence with mercy for EXTREMELY dangerous enemies where as before he would consider wether it was MORE-->
