As example Porsche, Mercedes, and Lexus all have 5 stars....

Toyota has 3 stars.

Just to sum this all up, I love japanese cars, and german cars, but My friend works for bmw, and their in and out of the dealership as many times as u can blink a day, and im not over exxagerating, u have to remember more features to a luxury car = more reliability issues, more moving parts, etc...

This is fact, re check your chart, you're miss reading it. Infact it clearly states in the category of Exterior sturdyness reliability it has 5 stars....

Toyota has 3 stars as an example.

plus, the most important thing, is that Japanese have never been successful in their marketing planning, but they simply tried to hit Germans only by engineering figures: say, if Germans produce 5 step gearbox, they go for 6, or if Germans had 100 Hp, they would go for 101Hp and so on. But this doesn’t really pay off much, because what really attract the customer are not the engineering figures but the driving experience, safety, comfort and status.
