  • I've found the best thing I can do for mine is leave her in her favoured hiding place (bathroom), nothing else seems to ease things for her better

  • my dog is like this with planes, storms and fireworks. yesterday we had a bad thunderstorm and she was panting like she couldnt breath properly.

  • Great idea from Divin Truth. Awesome job, Poot little pup! You could also try putting cotton in her ears like when you bath them? I just feel so bad for her. Hug her for me.

  • aahh, poor little dog. Its good that your pet found a 'safe place' during the storm. Its not uncommon for animals to be frightened of storms. I think that until you find some better info on this, provide a safe place for your pet to hide when a storm hits. A box that has towels drapped over it perhaps in a closet (closets are great for sound buffing) with a few toys in there to add comfort.

  • does your dog have stormaphobia???
