xbox 360 fan mod

its a fan mod that is so easy to do. I did it to fix the RROD on my xbox 360.
instructions to do this:
1. learn to take xbox 360 appart watch a different youtube video for that
2. you might not even need to add thermal paste to make it go away first remove all the dust that is stuck in the heat sink
3. If it still RR's after you remove all the dust look up a video on how to remove heat sinks and apply new thermal paste(preferably arctic silver)
4. Check if the 2 red rings went away.
5. If they have gone away get a fan from an old processor heat sink or just buy one they are not too expensive probably like 5$
6. Red goes to red from back fan strip and just connect from under
7. ground black to metal case or something else
8. other wires that are left just get them out of the way
9. I recommend just running xbox witout case it gets more airflow that way anyways
This is a way to extend the life of your xbox without having to spend money on a new one.

u will get RROD again. the solder balls are already destroyed. only thing u can do is reballing and then install more cooling. alot more than u installed. your xbox gets to 100 degrees celsius in notime. install more fans on it that are NOT powered buy the xbox 360 brick. watercooling might do the trick also or buy a slim:)
