Dr. Jerry Coyne, professor of ecology and evolution at the University of Chicago, offers his views on evolution during the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Science Night Wednesday, Sept. 9. The presenation was part of the series "Darwin 1809-1859-2009" commemorating the bicentennial of Charles Darwin's birth and the sesquicentennial of the publication of "Origin of Species.

@mtbee9 I was putting myself in the shoes of Kent Hovind and ShockofGod when I wrote that statement. Hovind, in his video "100 reasons why evolution is stupid" several times refers to #1. "I just don't see how that can happen, seems stupid" And Shock is infamous of talking about how christianity is real, but if you ask him about other religions he laughs at how fake they are

You don't understand! Evolution can't be true for two reasons. 1) I don't understand it (so therefore it can't be true) and 2) I really really believe it was something else. And as we all know, reality is directly affected by the majorities belief system. And by Majority I mean mine. Hence, God did it.
