Understand you fine. He is generating a split octave performance composition with only 8 light/sensors.....or maybe he is triggering a prepared midi file which is incrementing note by note whatever sensor is being triggered. Certainly the plucked performance does not correlate with the supposed string lengths. An insult to actual harpists wouldn't you say? No musical ability required here.

I don't know this so please tell me how many strings are required to generate a split octave? And do you mean 8 sensors can't generate one? Please clarify my doubts.

Aaand, it's REAL, of course! It's obvious, that your controller is real. Remember that: I never told something like "fake" or so... Anyway, good luck, and I apologise for any thing I told you. Best regards.

Sorry, but I mean about the design. And, please: don't be angry, 'cause I don't want to spoil your mood. It's just my opinion. You know...

Just read what I have posted a number of times explaining how the programing is set up , that you see being played in this video. It is odd how many folks post here who apparently do not know how to read, or refuse to read the information explaining how it works. i believe i will take this video down soon, since most folks who look at it are not too bright !!:-))

Hi Marcos, ... not sure what you are saying? Just read the information i ahev posted on this page, describing how this laser harp works. It is using low powered lasers, that are safe for kids to play with. The laser harp that Jarre plays it completely different, with Very high powered lasers.
