  • Clean tone is nice, but the distorted tone needs a bit more bass. Should use a mahogany or basswood body instead.

  • Boner.

  • Is the dirty sounds demo prerecorded or something?

  • My 6-string is tuned lower.

  • @BenRandallGuitar How much does this cost?

  • fuck...apart from the guitar..the guitarist is fucking amazin

  • is that a lost dreams song at 235????

  • Really dig this guitar! Anybody knows the closing song? O_o sounds good!

  • @TurkeyTuck I have 4 very similar guitars, made out of the same wood with the same pickups and they still different eventhough I'm using the EMG 81 which really compresses the output. So what I'm saying here is, sure wood does make a difference, but I wouldn't bet any money on a certain outcome of a desired tone.

  • @Herrdesrings

Wood can still affect tone. In some cases, if you have a guitar made out of a certain wood with certain pickups, you can't just crank the knobs up to "11" and be like "yeah! it sounds great now!"

Take a guitar made out of agathis (really cheap wood) and plug it in into an amp. Even if the settings amp settings are the same on the other guitars, you'll still have a tonal difference.

Amps are a guitar's appendage, not the heart and soul!

  • Damn good playing

  • @TurkeyTuck How about changing the settings on the amp instead of building a new body?
