Animation showing the changing borders combined with the images of the most notable rulers of the Brandenburg Electorate, later Brandenburg-Prussia, then Kingdom of Prussia ( from 1701) until the creation of the German Empire.
The programs I used for creation of this are: MS Paint :) , GIMP 2, Windows Movie Maker.
Hope you enjoy it. Nazi comments are not welcome.

The name of the film indicates that it's about the growth of the Prussian Kingdom... Napoleon, for his importance and awesomeness, was only a short episode. Actually it was an occupation, not much recognized by the European powers.

Thanks for posting the video! I notice you did not factor in the temporary losses during the Napoleonic Era...who needs that anyways? I like history more without that grim period in Prussian History.

Well, it is because it all happened during the reign of the same monarch, so he kind of regained the losses plus managed to snatch more after the Congress of Vienna ;)
