It's a matter of trust. Lots of trust.
Craid - the last guy - and I have ridden together lots, but he never told me he was doing the direct approach. Again, trusted him to do what he wanted. If I would have flinched or jumped, I would have *#$**. All in all, a great group of guys.

Actually, they all pulled over about 300 meters up the road at the "Welcome to Nelson" sign for a group photo. There we split into two groups - one went on the Kaslo loop, the others on the Creston / ferry loop. Awesome is a great description of the whole event.
