I used samdump2, to dump the SAM file into a hash file for my computer. I changed my password to "asdf" for the test. jtf could not crack it for some reason. jtr ran for an extremely long time and coulndt get it. Any ideas?

If I were you don't download metasploit on your pc becuase there are a lot of process running while your not running metasploit. It make your pc slow. Use bt or get ms on a VMWare
