  • still for sale? where are you located?

  • Sorry it sold. I wish i still had it. I would buy another in a heart beat!

  • It brings a tear to my eye to see her go! I'm gonna miss this truck!

  • 64,000 miles.

  • is that the origna motor init or has it been swapped or rebuilt?

  • All is original and it has not been rebuilt. The body only has surface rust there are NO rot holes and the gate closes to within 3/16". No big dents in the body it has seen very little weather being garaged from 1976 to 1999.

  • The only thing better is a fire truck responding to a call with a both a Federal Q siren and a Detroit 6V-53 screaming their lungs out. See "Shrieveport Engine 11."

  • A cornbinder with a Screamin' Detroit, it doesn't get much better than that!

  • @douro20

Maybe in a Detroit, but the Mercedes-Benz 3.0 CDI engine which replaces the I5 is a V6.

  • I've heard that the V engines sometimes have problems with valve slap- is this true?

  • it sounds good

  • thats a quick old truck. Wish i could say the same about my loadstar 345 gas. haha i do enjoy the sound of them detroit motors...

  • V6 diesel? they're rare, it rev ups pretty fast for a diesel too

  • What a nice truck!

  • 萌え☆

  • ill bet the old girl pisses off the neighbors. there is nothin better than a 'binder with a Screamin 2 Stroke in it. keep on rollin.

  • Hope it found a good home.

  • ok sounds good wat are u wanting for her

  • how many miles does that engine have on it?

  • So far the highest is $5600. I might consider a trade but it would have to be a a 4x4.

  • Without even a rough $ figure I couldn't see driving 200 or more miles to CT.

  • Well I have a few different offers but none so far are worth it. The truck is in excellent shape for its age. It's in Connecticut.

  • How much? Location?

  • Beautiful!!! I love 6V-53 Detroit Diesels. They were so omnipresent back when this truck was new.

  • Great truck! It looks and sounds great
