I'm searching You Tube for Wynton Marsalis's version of this song and now I realise, that IS Wynton Marsalis, just very young. I love his recorded version of this, with Branford and Ellis Marsalis.

i absolutely love add9 chords in the bass. Black Narcissist by Joe Henderson works really well with them too.

Wow...I have been looking for this show for years...Chicago Soundstage...the first time many of us ever saw Wynton Marsalis play. An amazing tune by Tony Williams. Thanks so very much for posting.

Why NOT play it in B?? Any "playable" key you'd choose would still have enough "un-playable" chords and key centers anyway, by the way.
