@chuckyy760 you need an amp. Instead of the cleansweep you could look into a JBL MS8. its a DSP and an amp all in one. does was the cleansweep does but a lot better. I actually upgraded that that unit after the cleansweep.

You did a pretty good job with the install. I was hoping you would show where the factory amp was located at. I was told by guys on the f150forum that it is located under the center console but I am still unsure.I am hooking up an LC2i connector since a remote wire is not required it just detects voltage through the speakers and turn off from there, but the inputs require negative and positive from both sides of whatever I hook it up too. If you know anything about that could you send me a pm

@pongdadong Factory sony amp is located under the center console yes. My truck had the non-sony system so I did not have a factory amp. the speakers were amped from the headunit. Not sure how you would integrate the lc2i because you wont have enough inputs. you need at least an LC6i.

@fondupot The LC2i has 2 inputs for right and left positives and negatives. I'm just running one aftermarket amp out. but it does have two RCA although one is for highs and mids. Thanks for the info though, gained a lot from your video. Will be opening up the Center console this weekend.

@pongdadong Yea thats what I mean then you will only have 2 channels of speaker output, you wont be grabbing all the outputs from the Factory amp. And i think you will need some type of summing device. I dont think the LC2i has summing built in to it. The LC6i does.

Really appropriate u taking the time to make the video. I have a question. Where did u find the remote wire . Did it come from the harness oem . I have a 2011 but it came with the amp so trying to figure out if its gonna be easier to get a harness cominguyen from the factory sony amp. Thanks

@mperez2008 remote wire was hooked into fuse #38. with a jumper. its an accessory fuse. but it does keep your amps on whenever the truck is on. not the actual radio.
PAC sells a harness that can be used with the non-sony system that has a built in remote wire. I ended up using this eventually. But sorry that wont work for a sony system.
