i started chdk,entered alt menu,but i couldnt record a video during the alt menu

Thanks to the CHDK guys I got it working No dual partitioning needed for 4GB+ cards Format SD card by Camera options menu Download the complete firmware> Unzip Copy DISKBOOT.BIN, PS.FI2 and the CHDK folder onto the SD card Put card in camera, start camera by holding PLAYBACKbutton for 1-2 seconds Menu>right at the bottom> select Firm Update, OK ALT mode by pressing DISP + FUNC.SET Menu>Miscellaneous stuff> Make card bootable -Turn off camera, lock SD card -Boots directly into CHDK

How do you manually focus during video?. I have CDHK installed but only got it working last night so any help would be great & great video..DM.

@drunkanmaster Follow this steps
- Go to video mode
- set to manual focus
- go into alt menu
- start recording (not needed for testing)
- now with the right button set the factor
- use zoom leveler to adjust focus. here you must be careful to use only slow zoom or it crashes
- to change zoom go out from alt menu and use zoom
- go back into alt menu and use manual focus.
