I haven't mastered that fast part yet, so I figured it was better not to play it than to play it sloppy and erroneously.

That's because it's pretty much impossible to go from the intro to the part that starts from 0:25 and because I definitely wanted to play that part, I played the simple part from the intro.
I don't think the intro is very hard, but it is fast. The hardest parts are the arpeggios in the solo (yeah I still need to work on that :P), as you can see I edited the solo because I screwed it up a lot of times -_-
