After many complaints that I didn't add tahini to my Hummus in a previous video, I make sure I use it here. The basic recipe combines 1 can chick peas, 2 cloves garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, 1 T tahini a little water, salt and pepper. I make a dbl batch and process half with a puree of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and olive oil.

  • Thanks for the water from the cans or soaking tip. Something I normally would remember. I know I go really lite on the tahini so I will try a larger amount next. We'll see.

  • Thanks for the recipe. A little tip on the garlic is to remove the germ (tiny center) to avoid indigestion and garlic breath.

victor1566: I'm sure he can figure out that it grows in a pod, like most seeds, on the sesame plant.
