A film I shot in December 2007 about Brandy the Sniffer dog and handler Charley. I post it now out of respect for the RAVC handler and dog killed in Sangin, 24/07/08. If you like this video then check out my website www.caparkinson.com

  • my friend now owes that dog so the dog did not die.

  • @NSuttonPictures You now Shit you train for 2 years Are you forgetting that try going to the job center they will tell you what Im telling you

  • @NSuttonPictures Why I ballshit about it, its just a job and Yes I am, Im learning in my base in plymouth and then when im ready and im 17 I go out to where ever the fuck they are taking me

  • @ryan12321123 But im 16 and Im doing it

  • @networkstudios its moved up to 18 now :(

  • @ryan12321123 No its 16 now because im doing it

  • For those wanting to become a dog handler at 17, I suggest you either go into something within the army first and then transfer or wait a few years and then apply. Do an animal care course and volunteer at a dog kennel or rescue centre and get your experience. There may have been only 1 dog in this clip but becoming a dog handler is tough! Owning a dog is NOT the experience they are looking for, it's not enough!

  • @Chibup

Thats in correct. The Army never held its "Royal" title.

  • @Chibup dude seriously look it up! i know it might seem like it would be the royal army, but its not mate! its British army

  • @ryan12321123 hey, I have applied for the Army for the same thing as you, I'm 16 but turning 17 in May, well the first thing you do is your basic soldier training for 12 weeks (I think) then you do your phase 2 which is training for the job, most training is located in Germany. Hope this helps! :D xx
