The Truly Loving Company today announced that it is supporting a social media charity initiative called Bald4Good as part of The Truly Loving Company's TLC Promise Me campaign. Created and managed by Wit Ink Creative and TLC, this charity initiative aims to create awareness via word-of-mouth and direct 100% of its proceeds to Hospis Malaysia
Hospis Malaysia has recently conveyed its need for new equipment to help bring comfort and ease to its inmates through the TLC Promise Me charity campaign. They include two units of oxygen concentrators, two nebulizers and a portable suction pump, totalling approximately RM22,500.
Bald4Good urges its supporters on Facebook to dare someone to go bald via a monetary pledge. Others are encouraged to add to the donation amount up to a target amount and the nominated person will then accept the challenge to go bald at an event finale on the 21st of August 2010. All funds accumulated will go to purchasing the much needed medical equipment for Hospis Malaysia
