continuation of the presentation by John Heider of Monticello, IL, at the Harrisburg District Library about cemetery preservation and dowsing for graves. John and his ninety-year-old father-in-law have reclaimed three abandoned cemeteries in Piatt County, IL. One listed 36 known graves, but they located 115 more. At a former county poor farm that had 14 known graves, he and a grandaughter found 38 unmarked graves. He discovered the grave of the only Revolutionary War soldier in Piatt County.
