Paargefühl - Tangofieber an der Saar

This report was aired in october and december 2007 by the german channel SR3 during the show "Direkt dabei". It shows the Bootshaus-Milonga, which is organized by the Tangokombinat and features an interview with Detlef & Melina.

This report is about Tango in the Saar-Region. It describes the customs of a Milonga (Cabeceo, Tandas, Cortinas...), points out the internationality of the visitors (guests from Germany, France, Luxembourg) and talks about Tango as an improvised dance, where feeling and connection are more important than memorizing steps. Furthermore Melina & Detlef are interviewed and talk about their Tango-career, the Tango-family all over the world and the significance of the internet as a means of communication. It was actually a quite good report, without the usual clichés of "passion"...
