Pigeon Squab 5-27-09

Still young, but so big. He's tethered out so he can explor the outside. He kept flying on the metal roof and wondered why his feet were burning.... It's only 99 outside, I wonder what the metal is!

He dislikes my attention more and more everday, I doubt he's going to come back when I turn him loose. My neighbor told me when he was little, him and his cousins would trade pigeons and that would teach them to fly back home and they would sent notes to each other. I doubt mine wants to come back, and I don't have anyone to trade birds with.
