Results from the 4 states where Green Parties participated in the February 5 Super Tuesday primaries show a landslide for Ralph Nader in California(61%)and a lead among candidates for Cynthia McKinney in Arkansas and Illinois.
Ralph Nader (born February 27, 1934) is an American attorney and political activist in the areas of consumer rights, humanitarianism, environmentalism and democratic government. He helped found many governmental and non-governmental organizations, including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Public Citizen, and several Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs), including NYPIRG. Nader has been a staunch critic of corporations, which he believes wield too much power and are undermining the fundamental American values of democracy and human rights.
Nader has run for President four times (in 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004). In 1992 he ran as a write-in in both the New Hampshire Republican and Democratic primaries, and other primaries. In 1996 and 2000, he was the nominee of the Green Party; in 2004, he ran as an independent, but was also endorsed by the Reform Party.[1] His campaigns have been controversial, with his role in the 2000 election in particular being subject to much analysis and debate.[2]He appeared on the cover of Time magazine in 1969 for his role as a consumer advocate,[3] and has been called one of the most influential Americans of the 20th century. In 1999 an NYU panel of eminent journalists ranked Nader's book Unsafe At Any Speed no. 38 among the top 100 pieces of journalism of the 20th century.[5] In 1990 Life Magazine,[6] and again in 1999 Time Magazine, [7][8] named Nader one of the 100 most influential Americans of the 20th Century.
In 1980, Nader resigned as director of Public Citizen to work on other projects, forcefully campaigning against what he believed to be the dangers of large multinational corporations. He went on to start a variety of non-profit organizations which are:

Capitol Hill News Service,Citizen Advocacy Center,Citizens Utility Boards,Congress Accountability Project,Consumer Task Force For Automotive Issues,Corporate Accountability Research Project,Disability Rights Center,Equal Justice Foundation,

  • any body dont rate ralph nader as five is an umamerica turd criminal

  • It was absolutely a stunning debate (10/23, on CSPAN_2).

    I feel FIRST TIME I am A M E R I C A N. and I am not ashamed, but- proud!

    I voted for R. Nader!

  • RALPH NADER DESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS,you feel me? HE deserves the American presidency for the next 8 years and it will definitely be an 8 years we will never forget that we all rightfully deserve, you feel me?VOTE and rally up votes for RALPH NADER to become the president for the next 8 years, you feel me?

  • come on viewers...RATE this 5 stars.

  • Nader might be a good choice for puppetdent but maybe go green in the congress and senate and get rid of every corrupt incumbent.

  • I''m Ralph Nader's age; came to admire this man back when he was very young and truly dedicated. He's lived his whole life in a chosen austere atmosphere; they've tried for years to find 'something' they could discredit Nader with, and he's absolutely as clean as a person can be - clean meaning in morales and ideals. Just love this man!

  • Ralph Nader is an excellent example of what we should strive to become...

    AWESOME!!

    He has my vote!

    Nader/Gonzalez 2008

  • If you truely believe in the cause, show it with your donations and your support. Also talk to others about Nader, try to get them to donate. We're up against corporate candidates with hundreds of millions of campaign dollars, and exhaustive media access to boot. The only way we could possibly compete is with the people, like you, giving all you can!

  • Nader is my #2 pick after Paul, altho both differ greatly with some domestic policies/issues. They are both honest and would serve the interest of Americans before corporations or foreign nations like the frontrunner's would.
