Trailer for Dr. Strangeman or: How I learned to stop worrying and plant the bomb, a 50 minute black and white GMOD 10 machinima film scheduled for release this September which is a parody of the 1962 black comedy classic, Dr. Strangelove or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. This is a spinoff of the original storyline but set in the Half Life 2 universe (not exactly HL2 canon). For example, in Dr. Strangelove the focus was the cold war with U.S. and Soviet Russia. In this, Dr. Strangeman, it is the Combine and Rebels.
General Ripper of the Combine Overwatch issues an order to a bomber squadron to destroy friendly combine superweapon installations...but what could be the reason? Was he really ordered by his superiors to do so? His group captain has reason to believe otherwise and it's a race to stop him before doomsday - something Ripper knows nothing about whereas a few people deep within the citadel do and will stop at nothing to let it happen.
This movie, which will compare to War of The Servers in terms of duration will be a 50 minute film upon completion, will be released this October. With a great story to spinoff in the HL2 world and an all-star cast, it should be a huge hit. Starring the usual Janus Syndicate crew (Xanatos, Uberdonut, etc.) with some other role appearances by Steinmann (War of the Servers, Maitenence Man), TFG (CS Clan Wars, Militia 2), Wolfer and HKSniper (The Adventures of Garry), and more.
This follows the exact same style of the Dr. Strangelove trailer.

its 39. it was bound to be pretty close to 50 but it was sized down for pacing. its better that way, but that doesnt mean you have to be a nonbeliever!
