I nearly took off prior to this train out of boredom. If it wasn't for the static i heard on the scanner and hearing a faint horn echo I wouldn't have caught this train. Once I heard the few toots of the horns I got ready. I was certainly not expecting to see a flame thrower beeing shot out of the exhaust stack of the second GE unit. I pointed to the second unit just as the engineer gave me a few shots from the horn with a very kick ass thumbs up!!!

@SPIRITAIR1 Oh they knew alrgiht. Engineer had a shit eating grin and was giving me a thumbs up as he passed me. Im sure Selkirk knew aswell, but im mean if the train is running somewhat fine, then just keep on truckin!

Don't ya just love all the ignorant fools on here who think they know everything, but have probably never railfanned or done anything relating to locos at all?
First two minutes of the video definitely needed to be cropped out, but still a very good catch man! I have yet to see anything like that at the CSX Terminal in Hamlet, NC, but I hope I do! (So long as it's not the train actually on fire...haha)

@FiReStOrMWolverine LOL yea I laugh every time I see the email's that I get video responses and they are telling me its fake. When I click on the link in the email and it opens to this address, the videos' youtube recommends have video's of trains shooting fire. LOL
Im going to try that youtube video editor and see if I can cut out the long opening.
